形态描述
前、后鼻孔紧邻。颊部鼓出。口裂宽阔，呈弧形。上、下唇厚，唇面无明显皱褶，下唇中央有一深缺刻。上颌齿状突较发达。第1鳃弓内侧鳃耙9—10枚。腹鳍基部起点与背鳍起点相对或稍后。体侧无斑纹或具不明显横斑。

This specialized noemacheiline loach is a large well-marked species, and lives in mountain streams of the Northern Thailand and Xishuangbanna,Yunnan Province in
China. The coloration of the body is somewhat varible.
